The Bronx Wanderers will continue to charm audiences with the best 90 minutes of America’s Rock ‘N’ Roll songbook all on one stage when this high energy show moves to the Mat Franco Theater inside The LINQ Hotel & Casino beginning Monday, Jan. 28.

Since opening at Bally’s Las Vegas more than two years ago, the father-and-son trio, flanked by their top-notch band, has performed more than 800 shows for over 70,000 fans, and was voted the Bronze Winner of the “Best New Act/Show” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards 2017. Popular demand has called for The Bronx Wanderers to move to a larger venue on The Strip, and while the scale of the production will be greater, the group will continue to provide their fans with an up close and personal, yet larger than life show. Audiences can still expect to hear hits spanning from the beginning of Rock ‘N’ Roll right through today’s tunes, including numbers from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Dion, Queen, Billy Joel and Bruno Mars, as well as some fun additions for the new show at The LINQ.

United by their passion for great music, The Bronx Wanderers are helmed to perfection by charismatic master entertainer Vinny Adinolfi, who is a former chart-topping record producer. He is joined on stage by his two sons – Vinny “Vin. A” Adinolfi III, an Italian Brian Wilson who sings, arranges and plays several different instruments, and drummer extraordinaire Nicky Adinolfi – as well as a killer hand-picked backup band, including Joe Bari, Fernando Tort and David Braun.

“We have loved performing for our fans in Las Vegas for the past two years, and are so excited that we have this opportunity to play in a new, larger theater at The LINQ, which will allow us to take the show to a whole new level,” said the band and show’s founder, Vinny Adinolfi. “This isn’t just your parents’ Rock ‘N’ Roll. Audiences will leave the show singing and feeling like one of the famiglia. I am living my dream!”

“This is a one-of-a-kind show! The Bronx Wanderers provide the best musical time you will experience on one stage, or dare I say, ever!” added Kathi Glist, one of the show’s producers. “When 20 year olds in the crowd are jumping to their feet, clapping and yelling to hits from the ‘50s to present day, right alongside 70 year olds, you know this is one rockin’ show you’ll never forget.”

“Since their debut in 2016, The Bronx Wanderers have created the magic of rock and roll and connected with audiences from all over,” said Damian Costa, vice president of entertainment operations at Caesars Entertainment. “Their showmanship will be a fantastic addition to The LINQ Hotel & Casino.”

With superlative vocals and musicianship, dynamic enthusiasm and a genuine love of the music they perform, The Bronx Wanderers recreate the magic of the era and build an energetic bond with their audience. The show tells the stories and plays the music that will take you as close as you can get to having lived the actual experience. The Bronx Wanderers take the stage each night with new material, but they never leave out the favorites that their fans and audiences have come to love.

The Bronx Wanderers have toured the country over the past 12 years, playing pop/rock classics spanning six decades in front of sold-out audiences everywhere. Bronx Wanderers moving to Mat Franco Theater at Linq in ‘19

The Bronx Wanderers’ very name indicates movement. And the popular family act is on the move, hauling out of Windows Showroom at Bally’s and into the Linq Hotel’s Mat Franco Theater in January.

Making official what had been expected for weeks, producers Alan and Kathi Glist have secured a preview opening of 9 p.m. Jan. 28, with a media premiere targeted for mid-February. The show’s weekly show times follow the same type of fluctuating schedule employed during Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas residency in the theater: 9 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 4 p.m. Sundays (tickets are $79, $89 and $109 for VIP; fees not included).

11517995_web1_BRONXSOULREVIEW-NOV04-16_012.jpg

As previously reported, the Bronx Wanderers’ final show at Windows is Dec. 23. Their next room is significantly larger (the Franco room seats 650 compared with about 200 at Windows), and the scale of the production will be larger for the guys in 2019. But as they say, the act has performed a bigger show to larger crowds across the country before settling at Windows in October 2016.

“We started in performing arts centers where our smallest crowds were 500-700, up to 2,200 seats,” the band and show’s founder, Vinny Adinolfi, said after Sunday night’s performance. “So to be in a 200-seat room was kind of a change for us.” Guitarist, keyboardist and singer Vinny “Vin A.” Adinolfi III added, “Wer’e excited to be back on a bigger stage, and excited that Caesars (Entertainment) is behind us.”

Bronx Wanderers, which includes sibling Nick Adinolfi on drums and a lineup of top-level musicians, is an energy-fueled, concert-style production of rock classics dating to their “patron saint,” Dion DiMucci of Dion & The Belmonts, whose every mention from the stage is met with a chorus of angels. The production covers the family’s roots in the Bronx and friendships with those from “the neighborhood,” including actor Chazz Palminteri and Tony Orlando.

Since arriving in Las Vegas, the act has become close with Wayne Newton, who has also headlined at Windows and is due to close his run Dec. 30 as the venue is converted into a showroom dedicated to magic acts.

11517995_web1_BRONXSOULREVIEW-NOV04-16_008.jpg

“Playing here the past two years, Wayne Newton has been a dream come true,” the elder Adinolfi said. “When I told him we were going to the Linq, he hugged me and said, ‘You know, things happen for a reason. This is going to be great for you.’ Ever since we arrived here, we’ve been surrounded by the greatest people.”

Onstage, the act plans a more extensive video and lighting production. Such a song as Billy Joel’s “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant” will now play to matching images of New York City. One highlight, a video montage of surf scenes performed to the theme from “Hawaii Five-0,” can be further developed.

“The video walls and lighting package is going to take the show to a whole new level,” Vinny Adinolfi said. “Each show will be its own little adventure for us to play.”

THE BRONX WANDERERS TO FEATURE SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMERS KEITH THOMPSON AND BEAU CASSIDY

LAS VEGAS (August 20, 2018) – The Bronx Wanderers will be joined by two special guests this week as the group’s Vin A. will be taking a much-deserved vacation. In the nearly two years that The Bronx Wanderers have been performing at Bally’s Las Vegas seven days a week, Vin A. has not taken off a single day, except for when he opened for Bon Jovi at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, March 17.

It actually took two people to fill in for the very talented Vin A.! From Monday, Aug. 20 through Sunday, Aug. 26, well-known musical director, arranger and composer Keith Thompson will fill in on the keyboard and background vocals, with Beau Cassidy as a featured vocalist.

“Because of the parallel of being a part of a musical family and legacy and his great talent, Beau was a natural! Having produced Beau’s dad, David Cassidy, and The Partridge Family, Vinny Adinolfi is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Beau. Vinny will also perform some of his own favorite tunes,” said Kathi Glist, one of the show’s producers.

Wayne Newton, Tony Orlando Crash Bronx Wanderers’ Party

By John Katsilometes

It’s all fun and games, until Wayne Newton and Tony Orlando show up.

Then it’s REALLY fun and games.

10439984_web1_vinny-wayne_web.jpg

A night on the Strip took a legendary detour Thursday as Vinny Adinolfi of Bronx Wanderers celebrated his 60th birthday during the act’s performance at Windows Showroom at Bally’s. The show, and Adinolfi’s party, were planned. But dual surprises arrived as Orlando showed up unexpectedly to take in the show. Orlando helped the family band get its start years ago as his opening act early in their careers and has been friends of the Adinolfi’s for two decades.

Orlando and his wife, Francine, and daughter, Jenny Rose, were seated near the front of the stage to Adinolfi’s wide-eyed shock as he opened the show.

Adinolfi was further stunned when Mr. Las Vegas unexpectedly sauntered into the room. Newton is familiar with the second-level showroom as he’s also a headliner at Windows on Mondays through Wednesdays. Clad smartly in a black Tom Ford jacket, Newton made his way into Bally’sduring a break in a corporate show he’d been headlining for the ISRI The Voice of Recycling Industry convention at Mandalay Bay.

10439984_web1_vinny-tony.jpg

Customarily, Newton was met with a standing ovation as he walked to the stage, stopping to hug and plant a kiss on Orlando’s cheek. The two superstars have reconciled a long-running feud that was rooted in litigation during their days sharing of theater in Branson, Mo., in the late-1990s.

Newton took the stage, shaded his eyes and said, “Look at this group! I gotta tell you, I heard Tony Orlando came in tonight to fill in for me — what the hell are you doing here?” Newton laughed, wished Adinolfi a happy birthday and hustled off to resume his corporate gig.

Orlando later joined Adinolfi for a quick medley of Orlando’s hits from his days with Dawn. “Sweet Gypsy Rose, “Candida,” “Knock Three Times,” and “Tie a Yellow Ribbon” were mashed in an arrangement put together by Vinny’s son Vinny “Vin A.” Adinolfi.

“I’m having the time of my life with my friends up here,” said Orlando, who returns to the South Point Showroom in August. “I’ve been to a lot of birthday parties, but none I’ve enjoyed more than this one.”

Bucky Heard of the Righteous Brothers also joined the impromptu sing-along, which also included a Bronx Wanderers staple — Dion’s “Runaround Sue.” A show that usually runs 1 hour and 15 minutes lasted more than two hours.

“What a night,” Adinolfi said at his post-show party (there was that, too). “I am totally overwhelmed.”

The Show Must Go On!

One of the biggest challenges that The Bronx Wanderers have faced since arriving in Las Vegas 18 months ago occurred last night (3/17/2018). Musical director Vin A.opened for rocker Jon Bon Jovi in front of nearly 20,000 at T Mobile Arena with several members of the BW in his band. The Bronx Wanderers took Bally's stage with three substitute, a gamble that could have backfired. As always, the show went off without a hitch and audiences responded with standing O's. The performance was a huge success. One returning show-goer commented, "Tonight Vinny really showed why he belongs on The Strip."

Bronx Wanderers Rally for New Fan

By: Sam Wagmeister/Nightlife Editor

The Bronx Wanderers show at Bally’s Windows Showroom is a tightly scripted performance that leaves many audience members claiming, “The best show on The Strip.” But lead singer
Vinny told an audience last month “Every once in a while, life gets in the way” in displaying his gratitude for the group’s fans.

On his right arm, Vinny wears a rainbow of wristbands supporting his fans fighting cancer. Often, when one of his survivors is in attendance, Vinny relates the wristband story. One-night, last month, the story took a new twist.

entertainmentpix_2.jpg

Attending their first Bronx Wanderers show were 34-year old Andrea Argier, battling bone cancer, and her mother Jan. “What I’d like to do now,” Vinny told the audience midway through the show, “is acknowledge a couple of very special people in the house.”

He related the story of his first survivor who inspired the original wristband. Ending his story, Vinny said, “Tonight, sitting in the house is my newest survivor.” Stepping off the stage, he presented Andrea with a wristband emblazoned with her “Unite for Andrea” slogan and her funding page information.

Band members raised their arms, displaying their wristbands worn throughout the show heralding support for Andrea. Showroom manager Jason Atkinson’s team distributed wristbands to each audience member.

Doctors were puzzled ten years ago when Andrea first approached them. It took three years to pinpoint the cause of her too-frequent bone breaks, migraine headaches and other symptoms.

She was forced to abandon her career in behind-the-scenes movie production when her eyesight diminished so she could no longer see well enough to edit film and video on a computer. Her mother Jan has become a stay-at-home mom to care for Andrea, sometimes bed-bound from pain.

Multiple fractures to her right hip now require a cane and a shoe with a 4-inch buildup. Andrea has lost functionality of one kidney and doctors are trying to determine the cause of holes developing in her breastbone.

To support Andrea’s road to recovery, obtain a free wristband by emailing me: GreatLasVegasMusic@Gmail.com. Contributions are also welcome at: www.YouCaring.com/UniteForAndreaArgier.
